CPAC Guitar Vault

Design: Available as 8 space and 10 space (designed to fit both guitars and basses). Cavity under the instruments for accessories.
Dimensions:

• 8 Space Vault: 48" x 24" x 61.625"H (including casters) - 230 pounds.
• 10 Space Vault: 60" x 24" x 61.625"H (including casters) - 270 pounds.
• The 61.625" height (including casters) allows the case to be air freighted on a PMC in the vertical position. Please confirm with your freight broker to make sure there are not any exceptions specific to your freight.

Handles: 8 handles (2 on each side of the case).
Latches: Lever latches.
Label Dish: 1 recessed label dish (perfect for dry-erase PAL labels).
Casters:

• 8 Space Vault: Four 4" casters each rated at 450 pounds (2 locking).
• 10 Space Vault: Six 4" casters each rated at 450 pounds (2 locking).

Frame: Proprietary aerospace grade aluminum frame.
Lid: Slim lid that conveniently hangs off the back of the case when in use.
Neck Rests: Neck-rests are removable and adjustable left to right, front to back, and up and down. This helps to accommodate a variety of instruments and provide the perfect fit. Neck-rests can be swapped out for different attachments (optional) to hold mandolins, accordions, keyboards, etc.
Straps: Custom made adjustable straps with bungee relief. Two straps around the body. One strap around the neck.
Power: Recessed 120v power input top left (ideal for plugging in LED tape lighting).

Material: 3/8" Finnish Birch plywood with black phenolic resin. This 100% Finnish Birch plywood is made specifically to our specifications. The exterior phenolic resin has a “circle grip” pattern compared to the typical “haircell” pattern found on ABS. Unlike ABS, the phenolic resin will never delaminate.
Rivets: All of the rivets are backed by steel washers or with the aluminum extrusion.
Welding: The extrusions are welded at key joints in order to significantly strengthen the case.
CNC / CAD: Every case starts off life as a detailed CAD model before it hits the manufacturing floor. Panels are precisely machined using state of the art CNC technology affording us the ability to consistently provide uniformity and repeatability. Aluminum extrusion lengths are calculated using CAD modeling systems to ensure a proper fit and are cut using digital technology.

Benefits over standard “road case style” vaults:

• CPAC lid is slimmer and conveniently hangs off the back of the case.
• True truck pack dimensions. With the additional lid depth, “road case style” vaults are often deeper than 24”.

Benefits over standard "fuzzy" vaults:

• The aluminum frame of the CPAC case takes the abuse before the wood panels. Often times with “fuzzy” vaults, they get damaged when strapped up against a load bar or other cases in the truck/trailer.
• CPAC’s lid conveniently hangs off the back of the case.
• CPAC's 61.625" height (including casters) allows the case to be air freighted on a PMC in the vertical position. Typical “fuzzy” vaults are 63” which force the vault to be laid on its back. Please confirm with your freight broker to make sure there are not any exceptions specific to your freight.
• CPAC’s neck-rests are adjustable left to right, front to back, and up and down to accommodate a variety of instruments and help provide the perfect fit.
